Born in Oakland, California, Cristina Davis Whitlow has developed her skills for over 20 years in the entertainment industry. Her background includes celebrity panels, live shows, award shows, television shows, and film. Diversified in her endeavors, Cristina has also managed talent ranging from music artists, songwriters, and actors.

 

Cristina started her first company in 1999 a in the San Francisco Bay Area called Divine Productions where she managed musical talent, a professional event producer and fashion shows.  With her company, Cristina was also a project manager for many projects such as Culture Magazine, where she coordinated photo shoots for the magazine's fashion line. She supervised, booked talent and assisted with the magazines content.

 

In November of 2005, she founded the Ambassador Entertainment Group in Los Angeles, as she is currently president and CEO. In this role, as boutique agency owner, Cristina produces and consults for arts and entertainment events and workshops, produces and casts television and film projects. Cristina is responsible for production management for various projects, brokering talent for special events and has consulted on marketing and branding campaigns.

 

In 2009 Davis helped to establish and launch The Merge Summit with founders Holly Davis Carter and Robi Reed, a 3-day power packed event helping people break into the entertainment industry.

From 2014 – 2015, as co-producer and executive director of The Hollywood Confidential, Cristina was responsible for celebrity panel events, featuring actors and industry professionals discussing relevant topics and industry tips on culture and making it in the industry. Since 2015, Cristina has served as talent logistics coordinator for “Honda Battle of the Bands” in Atlanta Ga.  

 

Cristina joined ABFF Ventures, LLC in May of 2016 as a talent & volunteer coordinator for the 2016 American Black Film Festival (ABFF). In 2018, Cristina served as on-site sponsorship manager and in 2019, as the hospitality & senior special events manager for multiple events at ABFF.

 

In 2017 Cristina’s first film as a producer and casting director “Love by Chance” was premiered at ABFF. “Love By Chance” was not only screened at multiple festivals but opened in AMC theaters and debuted in South African theaters. In 2019, her second film “His, Hers and the Truth “screened as a “World Premiere” narrative feature at ABFF. Both films were acquired by the Urban Movie Channel (UMC).

 With a proven track record, Cristina showcases an unbridled passion for crafting productions towards their greater potential. Cristina has developed and sustained relationships and business that are making a international impact.
